Learn how the pendulum moves:

Find a quiet, comfortable place to sit, take a few cleansing breaths to clear your mind, body, and spirit, and then hold the pendulum in your dominant hand by the chain. When you’re situated, ask the pendulum “What does yes/no look like?” How it swings to demonstrate “yes” and “no” is how your pendulum will communicate with you.
You’re now ready to begin! You may also want to start with questions you already know the answers to, to help you further connect with your pendulum. And remember, using a pendulum is all about remaining at ease and staying open. The more open you are to receiving this divine wisdom, the easier it will be for your pendulum to communicate with you!
