This prayer chime, also known as a hand chime, is a percussion instrument used in temples. It is a religious instrument used in Buddhist temples and is frequently used in Sanskrit music to percussion rhythm.

Hold the lower end of the chime handle in your left hand, with the chime’s mouth facing upward, and raise it above your chest to be in line with your mouth when playing. To make the sound, strike the metal chime in your right hand on the chime body. The sound is crisp and bright, and it is commonly used in Buddhist rituals.
